You still have the silkscreen template for the XL7 right? Could you take an overhead picture of it scanned at a higher resolution and post it? That way we could get it scaled and use that for the base for the etching. You could even take it to a glass store and get it etched into a sheet of 1/16th plexiglass if you wanted something a little more durable and nicer looking than cardboard. As long as you give them a template, it's not too expensive to do this.
