RE: [xl7] Help MP7 wont boot

2003-03-29 by Andre Lewis

I remember something about it not booting if you didn't have it screwed
completely back together? Hmmm, you took the rom out and tried to boot without
it and it still wouldn't boot?

If it does boot, then you may have a bad rom - Try taking the rom out, and
booting with both cursor keys down, see if it loads debug functions. If it does
then scroll to self test and try it out. If any of the tests pass your probably
ok.

Subject: [xl7] Help MP7 wont boot

I was adding a new sound rom this morning and after installing the
SIMM my MP7 wont boot. When I turn the power on all lights are
illuminated and the OS never loads. Nothing is displayed on the
LED. I removed the SIMM and tryed it again and the same thing is
happening. I have had this problem once before after installing a
SIMM, but it was caused by a cable that came disconnected. I have
verified all cables and am still having this problem. Please Help!!!
