Everything will be loaded from the source track that's in there, with the exception of MIDI routing. This means that preset, volume, pan, arp setting (the one on the preset view screen), and mix output selection will all get imported from the new pattern. As rEalm said, FX settings (like send amounts and FX types) are part of the WHOLE pattern, so they don't get loaded with an individual track. The reason for not using the new pattern's channel routing is because since you can switch track locations (i.e. load 7 into 3), if you used the source channel, you'd probably be overwriting the settings from another track. For most people, this shouldn't be a problem, just make sure to load internal tracks to internal and external tracks to external ones and you'll be fine. --- guilt23fr <guilt23@...> wrote: > so, if i understand fine : only the sequence (notes+events after the > first tick) will be imported? that's a good way too imho. Nope, other way around... Everything *including* tick 0 will get imported. > --- In xl7@yahoogroups.com, erik_magrini@B... wrote: > > Arp on/off is a Preset function, not a pattern one so that won't But it's also a pattern parameter (as shown on the preset view page). It determines off, on, use preset, or use master (off, on, P, M). -Aaron __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
