Usb will work fine. If all you are doing is recording the XL7, you could also get a digital IO card (spdif) for your usb, might be cheaper... And no you shouldn't really wait, the prices aren't going to drop, the machine is incredibly upgradeable and they update the OS all the time, which you can quickly put on the machine. Pretty slick really. I am an x ASR-10 owner/x-mc808 owner. I have been out of the loop for a couple of years (since the introduction of the XL and MP) but am now ready for another go @ the electronic music scene. ??? I loved my ASR-10 (DAMN i sold it) and i remember the ROLAND MC-808 (i think that's what i owned) as being OK but really fragile. So much so that I had to be without it for a couple weeks after i bought it because it crashed hard! I am concidering on purchasing the XL-7. Should I wait a few months for the next best ENSONIQ-EMU toy or let the XL be a part of my set up for years to come and wish that I had waited a couple more months? My main concern is (back up of course) getting the audio to my PC (winXP) and burning it to cdr for others to hear. MAudio Audiophile 2496 Is this a good bet or should I go the PCI card route? Any info whould be welcome. Thank you and NicE gROup To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to: xl7-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com Your use of Yahoo!
