Thanks Erik for the info. However, I am still stuck. I have downloaded Cool Edit. I just can't figure out this manual. There is a midi in/out a and out b on the back of the mp. which out gets used with the in? which option do I select in the Midi menu on the mp so that I can transfer the info to cool edit and create the wav file? Thanks. erik_magrini@... wrote:E-Loader will only upload the midi data that's stored as patr of your Patterns. There's no audio that gets stored, so you can't just upload via E-loader and burn to a CD. You're best bet would be to just record the audio outputs of your XX_7 into something like a simple wave recorder (at 16bit, 44.4kHz), I think Cool Edit is free and will do this. From there, you can save the file as a wave file and then burn it to CD. "True recording software" will let you upload those midi patterns and the rearrange and compose as you see fit. Then you can record each track as a seperate audio file and do things like add plug ins and eq, all the fun stuff. Might want to head over to www.computermusic.co.uk and have a look around. They have a lot of newbie tutorials that might help get you sorted, as well as fere software to use too. rEalm I am having the same kind of problem. I'm murder with the track making but when it comes to the more technical side of production including the rest of the mp7's capabilities(i.e. effects adding and the knob turning things) I get into trouble. I just can't figure out how to record my tracks to my computer with E-Loader. Someone told me that I could use a standard cd burner software once I got the tracks/patterns loaded into the computer. Is this true? Or do I need a true recording software so that I can download my beats to cd. Somebody help me!!!! [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] Yahoo!
