You can change your midi offset for each track by a few ticks in your sequencer and it should record fine. You don't have to do the entire track just the first note really, but you need to shift it so the note on event isn't clogged by the reset, patch change, volume etc. messages sent by your sequencer on playback. There is also a huge chance your note on message happens at 0:00:00 which is a reserved time on the XL7 Andre -----Original Message----- From: zendeil <zendeil@...> [mailto:zendeil@...] Sent: Monday, February 17, 2003 7:42 AM To: xl7@yahoogroups.com Subject: [xl7] First note not recorded? Hi everyone. I am new to this forum but I can see that the people with the answers are here. This might be a newbie question but that is because I am a newbie to the XL-7. :-) When I realtime record into the XL-7 from a soft sequencer to create patterns the first step of the first bar (1.1) is not recorded. My software is midi syncing with the XL-7 perfectly in every other way but I have this problem and I have not been able to figure out why. I have been through the manual with a fine tooth comb filter and I cannot figure out what the problem is. Also, this is a problem for me with Cubase sx and MAgix Music Studio. Is there something simple I am missing? Let me know if more detail about my hardware and software set-up is needed for a reply.
