Mate, I would seriously suggest heading over to Computermusic.co.uk and
start reading on the beginners section. No offense, but each of those
questiosn could take hours to answer, and it's apparent from your
questions that you need to do a little diging to finalize what you want.
Not trying to be a jerk, but you're about to drop a serious chunk of
change on some gear, and relying solely on OUR opinions about what will
work for YOU.
Head there so you can get up to speed on what all is need for computer
sequencing, and then go some music stores to actually play wih the
keyboards/modules you're thinking of getting. Until you geta couple
hours of hands on time, you're just not going to know what you want/like.

Subject: [xl7] Cubase VST and my set up..will this work..
Ok, after looking at all your posts. It sounds like, the investment
would have to be (For a long period) for dance, trance, melodic
trance music.
Virus kc
Orbit 3
Techno Card ROM for the Orbit3
And to sequence, CUBASE VST for the PC.
Now, will CUBASE VST work for my pc with the Virus KC and Orbit3?
It says it has 48 Midi tracks on Cubase VST, what exactly does this
mean? If I only have 16 Timbers I can use at one time on the Orbit3
and 16 on the Virus--how will the others matter?
What are my limitations on Cubase VST for sequencing?
What else will I need? How do I hook the MIDI cable to my pc? Is
there something I need to add on to the USB port, or can I just hook
something up to my Joystick Port that is part of my Audigy 5.1 card?
