For those who weren't privy to David and my conversation, here's a little bit of advice for song mode step edit. The bottom line is: "Make sure you insert a STOP step before saving and/or repeating." Also, if you think about repeat and erase as simply inserting or erasing pattern change EVENTS (see the text event below; this is what gets placed in the song track), rather than inserting or removing patterns, all might be a lot clearer. -Aaron ----- Forwarded Message ----- From: "David DeciBel" <spec@...> To: "Aaron Eppolito" <synthesis77@...> Well, it looks like all is fixed. I put a stop step at the end of the song and i think that enabled me to change lengths. I did start from scratch on a different song number, and had some shortfalls with that too... Especially when erasing steps. For some reason, when i erased step one, it put step 2 to step 1 but made it 32 mearsures. Go figure. Either way, it's fixed. Thanks a lot... > --- David DeciBel <spec@...> wrote: > > Here's the file with a spilt in between steps 6 & 7 - it's a 4/12 > > measure split. . . > > > > One thing.
