That's pretty much the only way to do it if you want seperate audio tracks in your sequencer. Time consuming for sure! I just sit there in front of the PC with a good magazine or book while I do that sort of stuff, or I dust the studio :) rEalm So I had to make basically 16 sync'ed up passes thru Protools HD. But it was a pain to do and took almost 3 hours for a 4 minute song! It was so cumbersome and timeconsuming I'm wondering if I ever want to go thru that process again--seems it would be much easier to just trigger the XL from a computer sequencer cuz then you can easily mute tracks on the computer...but then you loose that quick-spontaneous asset of composing on the XL, which I like. I'd love anyone elses feedback using a similar XL / Daw and how you do it. [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
