If you could trim an entire pattern easily...it would be a workaround.  
But I don't think you can do that either, can you?

Like an 8 bar pattern...make it start at bar 6 and end at 8....etc.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
