Make sure the the TEMPO page in the MIDI menu is set to "ext"

By the fourth or fifth pass, tho, there was a noticible drift happening despite my attempts to make sure everything was set to start properly. Any other suggestions? Is anyone having similar midi sync / timing issues? I love the box but can't use it if it won't sync to Protools. My MPC2000XL has always synced right up no problem.

I couldn't get E-loader to see my XL7...I have a mac Ti powerbook running OS9, with a MOTU fastlane. Everything seems to be connected properly...is there any trick or secret? Anyone know when USB direct connect to the box will be supported on the Mac?
