Yeah, this has been a real pain in my ass lately too. I've got some XL-7 only tunes (hmmm, what could those be for?) that I want to spruce up in SX after the contest is over. Normally I just record the XL-7 parts into SX one track at a time, though in the past this is driven from midi sequences created there. However, there's no easy way to do this in the XX-7's Song Mode, as you need to create 16 new songs in order to only have 1 track playing! To clarify, everytime I want to record a seperate track into SX, I need to create a new song from my base patterns that has only that one track unmuted through out, because when the patterns switch, there's no way to keep the previous pattern's mute settings. Time consuming to say the least! For your situtaion though, I would think you would just have to do it in multiple passes too. rEalm What are you folks that record into PT or any other DAW do? Any help would be greatly appreciated. jho To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to: xl7-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com Your use of Yahoo!
