Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

i'm not gonna get excited and all pissed since i just bought this 
thing a few hours ago and do not yet know what makes it tick, or 
not tick for that matter. my brand new(2 hours out of the box) has 
frozen/crashed/whatever 3 times since i've opened it. i'm not 
doing anything crazy, mostly just playing with the presets and 
getting my aound the sequencer. any idea what could be 
causing the lock ups. it just freezes and i'm forced to power it off 
with the main power switch on the back. is that the wrong way to 
do it? i'm on OS 1.31. please don't tell me i've got a lemon.
