I dont know if this wll help but
here's how I deal with stubborn notes.

I add one or more control 123 (note off) to the end of the track
it seems to help clear the buffer

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
