Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

This problem seems to be very frequent for a lot of users...What has worked 
for me is removing the back..8 screws, popped out the ROM's and reseated 
(have World and Construction yard with MP-7) realigned the back carefully 
and tightened down the screws tightly, but not TOO tight...buzz gone...have 
to admit doing this on 2 seperate occasions...but it worked both times. EMU 
says it is a grounding problem, back not well grounded to the case as in 
loose screws (I added poor alignment) I think it is a bit more complicated 
as I had to do this more than once, but, as I said it worked both 
times...good luck...also there are tons of good drum/perc sounds on other 
ROM's, in my opinion the World ROM is exceptional it this area, other 
greeat souns as well.
