Question about the MP-7/XL-7 sequencer

Hi,
I plan to get a MP-7 but i'd like to know if someone can tell me more 
about the sequencer. Knowing the power of the Akai MPC sequencer,I'm 
afraid to be disappointed with a 303-like sequencer... So if someone 
who knows both machines could tell me the differences beetween the 
sequencers, it'd be really nice.
