Play around with the transpose button until the first pad(C)gives you the kick drum on Trancer. (C#1) will give you snare and (D)will give you hi-hat and so on. Now with the BTS parts set to either latch or unlatched, try recording the parts. If you have the parts needed unlatched, you will have to hold the pad down until you want it to stop(note on/off command), if you have it set to latched, you can press the pad once (note on) and come back to it when you want it to stop by hitting the pad again(note off). Each part has it's own velocity setting as well. Try it out.
