You pretty much hit it right on the head when you said there's 32 midi 
channels to choose from, but only 16 tracks.  It may seem confusing at 
first, but in actuallity each track can be assigned as a Multi track too, 
which means that it can sequence 16 cahnnels at once.  That way you could 
have track 1 as a MultiA track (midi channels 1-16a), say driving an 
external sound module on 16 channels.  You would still have 16 other midi 
channels (midi channels 1-16b)to use too for the internal sounds.

I'm sure I'm totally botching the explaination, but it's early and I've 
only had one cup of coffee so far instead of my usual 30.

Ok, got the new os loaded,i had forgot to do the prep thing first 
thanks.....i notice with the channelization featrue i can excess 1-16a 
tracks that is, but how do get more trks like an additional 16, in other 
words there 
32ch but how do i sequence them if i only have 16 tracks.
