somebody here mentioned EMU did not show up at the Frankfurt Musikmesse. True? This would be very strange! Realm, didnt you say this should be because the Messe is regarded to be an european event - so not too important to EMU, may be? >>>I agree, the European market is big, but so is the cost of sending out reps to promote the same stuff that was debuted only a few months earlier at NAMM. I think if they had something new to release, they would be there. <<< Another question to discuss: About the XX-7 there is only little communication to be found on the web compared to - say - the RS 7000. Hardly any substantial User reviews on sonicstate or harmony-central since months. Instead you find people wanting to sell their EMU boxes. How do you think the XX-7 sells right now? >>>My friend is the manager of the pro audio and keyboards divsion at a local Guitar Center. He said they sold quite a few units at first, but things have tapered off since all the talk of OS bugs has begun to surface. He also said the one thing people ask for the most is sampling on the XX-7's, and then go with RS7000's. Although most of them are returned he told me, people complain about crappy sounds and OS issues with those too :) <<< rEalm
