Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Is it normal when I load up a song for it to have different mute settings than when i saved it? Also, after the first pattern in the song passes, is it normal for all 16 tracks to unmute where none had been before and the original pattern only uses a couple tracks? Then when you delete just the 'unmute 1st channel' event it goes back to normal?

Finally, is it normal for there to be a bunch of random track mutes recorded in song mode that i didn't even press? I sound sarcastic but these are very real problems with song mode in my xl-7.
