I'm afraid I have no idea. The one that comes with either win2k or is
installed by the loaded I would assume.

Emagic Unitor Mk II

Scott, I'm sorry I haven't gotten examples to you yet. I've sent a note to
myself to get all the ones I have made so far on to cd so I can bring them
in here to my office and email them to you. I'll do my best to make them as
complete as possible.

In brief:
- Midi never seems to stay on the track it is assigned to.
- On importing the midi tracks, the length of some tracks becomes the
maximum the sequencer can accomodate (ie in logic the track reaches to the
end of the song)
- Changing the length of a track in logic causes the pattern not to play
back properly when uploaded
- Often tracks will be composed of several sets of midi notes in the
sequencer, rather than one.

Naturally, the xl-7 is expecting incoming midi files to be of a specific
format - I'm sure that if I knew more of what the unit was expecting to see,
I would be able to give it that, but you guys have to tell us what that is!!
Furthermore, the anomalies above, and other ones I have experienced aren't
always reproduceable, as far as I can tell - one midi file will behave one
way, while another will behave another.

I'm sure that the sequencer and how it parses out standard midi files is
involved heavily in causing these problems, but unless you can let me know
what to expect, and how to get around the issues, I'm going to be stuck.
I've tried using Logic, Sonar, and Cakewalk 3.0, hoping that sequencer
related garbling was the problem.
