That's how you add music cards. Opening the case is relatively straightforward, but in order to replace the LED light pipe requires removing the knob board, which is a bit of work. You have to remove all the knobs, some nuts, board screws and some electrical connectors to do the job. If you replace the connectors incorrectly you could damage the machine. I understand why you would want to try to fix this yourself, but if you are not savvy taking apart electronics gear you could mess things up. The light pipe being loose is not any kind of hazard since it is plastic and therefore can't short anything out. Even though you bought the unit overseas any authorized Service Center can take care of the repair for you. Just a few words of caution before you get possibly get in over your head with what is not an absolutely trivial task. Scott
