Anyway, a serious answer.
Given the comparison to MidiQuest XL ... a bloated, buggy, overambitious and mostly useless piece of software that retails for $399.00 ... here's what I would do.
I'd sell Prodatum for about $49.00 with one system. In this case the already available E-mu 2000 system.
Then I'd sell additional system modules for about $29.00 ... say for different Korg, Roland, etc., systems.
The beauty of learning a single interface and then being able to apply it to different hardware would be better than any dedicated software a synth manufacturer could make.
If you started with some of the older but still popular synths and then moved into the present generation, at the above price structure I think you'd make a very nice living.
