Bless your heart, I know how you feel, I purchased an Audity 2000 from ebay and it was working fine and then all of the sudden no sound, well, I was feeling ripped off, but I opened it up and took the rom out and put it back in the other slot and it worked again. I don't think you have to run the diagnostics each time you try a different slot which you should have 4, the machine will recognize the rom no matter which slot it is in. Saves you alittle time anyway. I didn't see if you had tried that but maybe??? Also just know this sort of thing happens alot with all kinds of equipment. I am an equipment freak, and tons of things have fizzled out. That is just the nature of beast. Like my firewire ports on my Digi 002 board just stopped communicating and it costs $410 to replace it. That's only the tip of the iceburg, So I really know how you feel. Good luck to ya Tomtel ( the tel of the dogg ) www.stormshelterstudios.com --- jason rodgers <fsmastering@...> wrote: > My mp-7 rom which i have had in the machine and > working perfectly would now will not show since i > tried to install the xlead.
