Re: rack ears...

2007-08-02 by gonzinigonz

You can always fabricate your own, its only a right angled piece of
steel with holes drilled in it.
I know its not that easy if you dont have the means to do it though.
If someone came up with the dimensions and hole positions (something
i might do myself..Time..)then a machine place would be able to knock
a bunch of these in no time for very cheap money.
We get 19" 48way XLR panels and other made up this way, if you give
them the drawings its easy.

Beat garden roms cool along with the protean drum.
I got it right when i brought my XL7 from the states.
It came with the XL7, Beat garden, Vintage synth and i brought the
Protean drum rom from Thomman in Germany for £70 at the time.
Maybe 2.5 years ago..
I hunted down the rom staight away as i had a feeling they would
become hard to find at some point.

when i had my xl7 last year i bought 3 pairs at close-out prices in
london, then sold 'em in the US for $40 each and still made $30 a
pair!

to pay $62 for my px7's ears... which now has that beat garden rom
too.
