Some more research later... it's almost definitely the X-Lead v2 ROM, I think. It's got all of the instruments and presets from the XK-6 (more than the XL-7), but more audition riffs than are listed in the XK-6 manual. Was there any documentation that came with the XLv2 ROM? Anyway, the details for the list... AP 10498-18: X-Lead v2, ROM-ID=14, reads as "XROM" on display. --- In xl7@yahoogroups.com, "vermis_rex" <vermis_rex@...> wrote: > > Got another one for the list. > > AP 10498-18 > > The guy I bought the unit (PX-7, with extra ROM) from said it was the > X-Lead v2 ROM, and the sticker on it says "Proteus 2000 sound > expansion XROM1"... but it's got 5 (five!) banks of presets on it, the > same ones as the XK-6 (I checked the XK-6 manual to confirm). > > Did E-mu sell that ROM seperate from the keyboard? > > > Al > Toronto, Canada > > --- In xl7@yahoogroups.com, "bob_at_work_2000" <tttsystems@> wrote: > > > > Hi all > > > > As I was moving some ROMs around between my XL1, XL7 & PK6, I realized > > I have at least 2 ROMs that have no name on them, only a number.
