I tried creating an index to the archives to answer question s like 
this. Try the following path:

--Files http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/xl7/files/
----E-Mu LAW [Links to Archived Wisdom]
------ROM IDs (and other technical stuff)
--------List of ROMs in numerical order.

If others search the archives and find useful info that could be 
linked in the E-Mu LAW Index:

(1) copy the link the link to the message
(2) give it the subject heading E-Mu Law
(3) write some key terms or a short description of the info.

I can search for these as time permits and generate the html docs 
for the Index. The archives is a wealth of info, but the yahoo 
search engine leaves much to be desired.

So far, I have put up three Index entried as samples.
