Heh... email crossing paths.  Yup, I did call this afternoon.  You send a
rebate style coupon to EMU (with a sales receipt).  So this one is outside
the hands of the dealers.  This kind of factory perk is usually not
retro-active, but I'm going to give it a shot.

At least someone at EMU is paying attention to the lack of meat and potatoes
sounds in the box.  ;-()

Yup... music stores are one of the few places where a long term cash carrying
customer can dicker within the stores cost structure.  Somehow though, I
don't quite see EMU applying the "dealer cost" difference between the old ZR
price & the new ZR price to the [new] price of, say, a World Expedition ROM.

Sheesh, that made my head hurt.  ;)
