'analogue haven' is our new store near LA, based in an old art gallery,
where we have some weird & esoteric stuff. my studio is **slightly**
smaller <http://alaskahighway.com/studio> but works exactly the way i need
it to, with most of the gear to my left in the skb racks.

the cool photo's on the AH site are mostly mine, though we have a load of
stock photos from manufacturers on the site which will be replaced over the
coming few months...

well, sometimes machines just need a clean, as well as unplugging, blowing &
replugging all the connector cables. as long as you don't lose track of
which plug went where you should be ok - taking digital pictures as you go
is always a good route.

often these contacts just need a bit of alcohol on 'em to clean off the
crud.

also, and this is quite a delicate operation, getting a very very small
screwdriver and moving the contacts inside the female adapters so they
aren't so flush to the sides often helps too.
