Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Thanks for your interest. I did however follow all instructions and 
I did try to monitor any Midi activity from the E-Loader monitor 
screen and the OMS too, anyhow the Midi interface has Leds too 
that told me only the "calling" signal from the MP7 was 
happening. The USB connection is fine because the Midiman 
wouldn't be powered up otherwise, the Midi ins and outs too, the 
OMS 2.3.x is there too, all is what was supposed to be...still no 
action. I tried rebooting in several ways, launching E-Loader first, 
launching it afterwards, whatever. On the OS download screen, it 
lets me choose the file, choose the interface, but the last button, 
"Download file to target" I think it's called, is inactive, and a line 
underneath says "waiting for download request"... i assume 
that's allright too. The MP7 says "searching for OS...
The Midi interface I got it from my store last nite brand new. 
Any clue?
