PANZARE: The Karma has a lousy, no-action-whatsoever keyboard, by comparison the keys of the M1 are like a Steinway. Take that into account. The sequencer is powerful, and the Karma engine is even more so, but the whole concept in my opinion is a trifle overblown, meaning that, after all, is just an arpeggiator. The machine could have more realtime controls, but the sounds are good, as always with Korg. I hate the Korg OS's, and with the Karma at least you don't have that unnerving touchscreen which is slower in responding than a broken ansering machine. Roland has the best OS's. Yamaha has the most complex though being quickly responsive. The best keyboard workstation ever done, in my opinion, was Yamaha SY-85 from 1993. Anybody who has it will tell you there is nothing it doesn't do, sequencer- or synth-wise. It even loads samples. And realtime controls for filters and mixer settings. Unsurpassed. I like my MP7, and I've already called my rep to order the Protozoa, the Sounds of the ZR and the Beat Garden Roms. However, I really can't wait for somebody to explain me how to download this damn OS from my I-Book because I can't figure it out. Cheers. Max
