I guess you need the XP service pack 1 to make usb run... ----Original Message Follows---- From: "steve_the_composer" <smw-mail@...> Reply-To: xl7@yahoogroups.com To: xl7@yahoogroups.com Subject: [xl7] Re: E-Mu usb drivers & Windows XP Date: Tue, 21 Sep 2004 02:22:40 -0000 I hope you remember how you did it and can help me install the drivers. I even tried removing and then reinstalling the usb hardware from the configuration profile. I meticulously followed the e-mu instructions. However, when I plugged the usb cable into the computer [usb 2.0], there was no recogintion of the e-mu. PnP hardware search doesn't find the e-mu, and the drivers were not installable manually--the install hardware/use disk route produces the message: this file contains no information about your hardware. Suggestions? Thanks. --Steve --- In xl7@yahoogroups.com, erik_magrini@B... wrote: > Yes, works fine for me. > > rEalm ] _________________________________________________________________ Protect your PC - get McAfee.com VirusScan Online http://clinic.mcafee.com/clinic/ibuy/campaign.asp?cid=3963
