It's a decidedly different way of working if you're used to computer sequencers, though once you get into it more, it definitely has it's own appeal. I find the results to be more musical, and the workflow is different in a better way too. I find I stop nitpicking things like I do in SX, where it's easier to get at every little minutae of your songs. Once you learn where all the menu options are, I find the XX-7's sequencer to be really fast to use too. rEalm I am liking hardware sequencing more and more.
