Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

The song info is all recorded on one track, correct? So I can just 
copy multi a and have the song data for all channels and then 
recreate the pattern steps and paste? 
 No magic trick to make it do what it says it is doing? Just seems 
so illogical to me that everything show up right in step and while 
stopped, but changes during play... But for all I know there are 
little microscopic gnomes in there turning gears and making sounds...
