Actually if you sell the ROM, you won't have any synth facilities.  Unless 
you replaced it with another ROM of course (but who would want to lose the 
Protean Drum ROM?).

If you flog off 
the drum rom for a ton on ebay, that means you get a hardware 
sequencer and bare proteus synth for just over £200, which is pretty 
good going.
