Well, the only way it would be addressed is to limit Q on those
presets, since it's *definitely* a feature to have hot filters.  If
E-mu were still manufacturing ROMs, they might have, but it seems
they're not, so I guess it's up to you to fix it in the user preset. 
Little known fact: most presets only have maximum Q set at 80% instead
of 100%.  You're free however to go in and change the "MidiB->'FiltRes"
patchcord to whatever you want though...  =)

That bug was a pain in the ass.  You'd be amused to know that we never
figured out what caused that bug and never figured out how to fix it. 
It went away on its own in the next release.  It *did* however
resurface when I was working on the 2.00 OS.  I backed out some
seemingly irrelevant changes and it went away...
