Excellent question. I tested this and found some unpredictable results. I will report these back to Dave as well as any other issues others may uncover. Here's what I found: (1) Cakewalk StudioWare Panel recorded filter Q sysex changes, but not filter algorithm changes. (2) Cakewalk StudioWare Panel recorded FX changes. When I used E- Loader to upload the revised mid file to the E-Mu, the chnages seemed intact. RECOMMENDATIONS (if you try the panel): --make sure you save your current multiseup first. --make sure you have your presets backed up. --- In xl7@yahoogroups.com, "Turby Schmidt" <trabantmusic@h...> wrote: > ...sounds nice, > is it possible to export midifiles of this realtime studio ware > manipulated parameter changes and upload them with the e loader? > > >(1) P2500 StudioWare panel > >->Functions as a preset editor > >-->(edited presets can be saved to E-Mu) > >->Allows for realtime recording of preset editor changes > >--->(Cakewalk records sysex commands generated by StudioWare panel)
