I copy the track to a different one, and then use the realtime erase to
delete the same notes on each track.
IE, I have a BD and snare on track 1. I copy that to track two, and then
press realtime erase. On track 2, I'll hold down the rubber pad for the
BD sound until it's deleted, then I'll go to Track 1 and hold down the
rubber pad for the snare sound until it's deleted. That leaves the BD on
track 1, and the snare on track 2. You can also deleted the instruments
in the Pattern edit menu too, just set the key ranges to encompass just
the note you want to delete.

is there a way to split a drum pattern thats played on one track(kick
and snare pattern) and then split them on the 2 tracks(kick on 1
