Re: [xl7] BPM syncronisation device

2004-02-11 by erik_magrini@Baxter.com

I actually use a MicroSync for the same thing you're trying to do, and
like you I couldn't find anything else that came close to what it does. I
do know there are still some out there though, you just need to hunt
around. Maybe try and get a hold of Red Sound's distributer? I recommend
you keep trying to find a MicroSync if you can, they really do work quite
well.

        Subject: [xl7] BPM syncronisation device

I'm looking for a device to sync my Command Station with the sound
form my turntables.

I found such a device, the Redsound Micro Sync, but Redsound stopped
production of this one (and it's bigger brother Voyager) last year...

I was really wondering if products that are similar are out there for
purchase.

I DO NOT need the automatic beat counter like on the Micro Sync, a
tap tempo function should be OK PLUS a feature 'nudge' or something
like that; so I can change the BPM in steps of 0.1 AND the ability
to "bpm bend". A remote start/stop button should be OK also but
that's not really neccecary. BPM screen should be great.

Thanks for anyone who want to help; I searched for a long time on the
web but I did not find anything like the Micro Sync, alas...
