Hello people, I have been trying to get my head round the XX-7 sequencer, I like it but jumping from 10 years on Cubase / Logic is quite a shift ... Quick editing of patterns is a must - how do you guys go about it? Record, then move off notes..? Also I want to be able to shift patterns around, live as its playing... is this possible or do you have to stop every time? Also, for playing live I was hoping I might be able to swap tracks within a playing pattern, like swapping a drum track for one with a nice fill for an end of a section, then going back to the straight loop... It seems the way to do this is use the loop function, having say 8 bars of the main loop, then 8 bars of a fill section - keep it going round till you want a change then allow it to cross into the fill section. Also, is there any way adding swing to an Arp pattern?? Thanks!
