Hi, here's my new OS idea: EMU can make the XX-7 a real groovebox by saving the presets datas within the pattern: This will make the XX-7 very more usefull and will prevent many headaches ... I'm sure they can add that feature, and here's why: --------------------------------------------------- So, for exemple, u can modify the "transpose" value of preset WITHOUT saving the preset, by saving the new value IN the PATTERN datas: 1-Select your pattern and preset. 2-Select the new transpose value with the preset menu. 3-Once u know the future transpose of the preset, then reset the transpose value in the PRESET menu. 4-Now go in the PATTERN menu and choose "transpose". 5-Select again the new transpose value +XX / -XX. 6-When u "validate" the new transpose value, the XX-7 will ask u wich tracks u want to transpose ... 7-Validate, save ... now go see u preset, it don't have anymore "*", so the preset isn't modified, and offcourse, u have the good transpose value, but saved in pattern data. So I think that IF EMU WANT to add that feature, they can make it. PS: Sorry for bad english ... ;) Inso
