Re: [xl7] MP-7 tracks

2004-01-05 by Ayoola Daramola

hello,
listened to your tracks, they sound very good for early prodction work and your sound is not boring, you have a lot going on but you should inject more energy into it like increasing your bps and adding more hi hats and cymbals also mess around with your quantize menu. If you dont already have rom expansions, buy some it will definately help you develop your sound and also search in the kit presets for realistic and hard pounding kick and snare drums. Overall i'll be looking out for you work in the future smells like hit spirit.
bless

Here is the link to some tracks I have made with my MP-7. I would
appreciate any feedback as I am still in the early stages of
developing my sound and production. Don't be afraid to be negative,
but please be specific.

All done completely through the MP-7 and then mildly compressed and
gain adjusted for recording.
