Thanks Paul,
 While I have cubase, I have not really used it for anything other 
than simple .wav mixdowns. Can you give me more specific instructions 
as to how to use cubase to load the preset banks into my **7? Also I 
see 5 banks of XL-7 presets in the files section, does the xl-7 
really ship with 5 banks? I thought the roms only held 3 factory 
banks.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
