About burnt out my morning sci fi. Always up fo a strong arm session if I can make it work on the dial up I'm currentlly on:( Outkast Love/Speakerboxx Uberzone's latest on moonshine. And various Chris Fortier downloads. Hard to find a good "DJ" set now days; it seems most mixes are done in the computer. Funny that now it is nearly impossible to get props for a vinyl mix when the world's best consider it acceptable to edit all of the tracks, pitch, and time correct... and then assemble the mix in a computer. So that the level of mixing many DJ's aspire to may not be possible on 2 turntables, cdj's or whatever. At least Uberzone didn't even pretend his was a traditional mix. He tell you right up front that he used computers and whatever else was at his disposal to make it... fair enough since he is a live PA. I guess it just dissapoints me that people don't seem to want the mix anymore and thos that are famed for being DJs rely on thier name and production skills of themselves and/or others to release a cd and not their djing. Hmmm, I seemed to have strayed far from topic, blah blah blah, but, I feel better to get that off of my chest:P , erik_magrini@B... wrote > Just curious, what's in your CD player? > > Mine: > > Elite Force - Strongarm Sessions weekly radio broadcast > Download - III Steps Forward > Hybrid - Morning Sci Fi > > rEalm > > ------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------- > The information transmitted is intended only for the person(s)or entity to > which it is addressed and may contain confidential and/or legally privileged > material.
