Sadly, I think we should all stop wishing for this, and just be happy with 
what we have.  It would be nice, but it's not going to happen.

Why not in the *SAME* box?

I would rush to buy a new Command Station that was a ROMpler and a Sampler 

with plenty of ROM and RAM expansion slots.  Some kind of VAS card support 

would also be extremely nice - as found in the Triton and Motif.
