Wait, now I'm confused.  Are you trying to:

A) copy more than one track to a different pattern at a time
B) copy a group of tracks to another group (like copying 1-3 to 4-6)
C) copy a group of tracks to a time later in the pattern

For A, if you have your tracks numbered the same as the channels (i.e.
ch1 on track1, etc) you can combine to clipboard, and then explode from
clipboard in the new pattern.

For B, you're kinda SOL...

For C, try the "extend" feature.  It's not exactly what you're looking
for, but it might work.  Alternatively, if you again have same numbered
tracks and channels, you could "combine", "shift time", then "explode".
