I have an XL7 (OS v2.0) and am using it with Sonar 3. The only big problem that I have is that, if I'm recording MIDI to SONAR, anytime I do any kind of pattern changes, like switching from one pattern to the next, SONAR's midi recording simply stops. Audio recording keeps going just fine, but no further midi notes are recorded. It sure would be nice to be able to record pattern changes, etc.. so they could be effectively played back through the XL7. Other than that, if you don't change patterns, it seems to record just fine. -Clint --- In xl7@yahoogroups.com, "steve_the_composer" <smw-mail@p...> wrote: > Thanks to those who replied regarding possible midi interfaces. > > Somehow, I managed to install the MOTU Express XT software and > drivers so it works via the parallel port (Halleluia!). > > Also, I got Sonar 3 installed and operating. > > Still testing the system, so I am wondering if any E-Mu users have > tips for working with Sonar. > > Also, if there are any Sonar groups as helpful as this group, please > let me know.
