Another quick reply - the Yamaha MG10/2 mixer is comparable to the Mackie you mentioned, and about 1/4 the price. It's also showing as 99.98% quiet on my spectrogram at full volume with no signal.. might be another way to save a few hundred... maybe put the money to a Dell? *whistles innocently* /.e
