I agree.  I was an Ensonic TS-10 user and the lack of
any decent computer based tools was one of the reasons
I didn't look at the Command Station in the first
place (not like the Roland one had one either though)

But speaking of Roland, I think they have the right
idea with their VariOS system.  I think more companies
should get the idea that almost all gear ultimately
gets plugged into a computer at this point and people
are tired of tiny little displays and buried
functions.

That said, if you spend some quality time with the
Command Station, it's not a bad unit to program.
