The problem is not really Emagic's fault... E-MU are really bad at
developing and publishing complete sysex specs for their hardware. They
promised a full sysex implementation for the Ultra samplers plus RFX card to
be releases last October (2002), but we are still waiting. Emagic can't
develop librarian software for the newer E-MU kit until E-MU give them the
full sysex spec (and also lend them a command station to test the software
on).

However, Creative Labs hold the purse strings nowadays at E-MU, and
developing full sysex specs for professional kit aimed at a niche market
comes second to developing consumer soundcards for the mass market.
